Dalam era persaingan yang semakin tinggi sebuah perusahaan dituntut untuk bisa bergerak cepat dan dinamis mengikuti arus perkembangan dunia industri. Untuk menjawab tantangan itu perlu adanya SDM yang berkompeten untuk memimpin sebuah perusahaan dan mampu memberdayakan SDM yang dimiliki oleh perushaan, salah satunya adalah Manajer. Manajer saat ini dituntut untuk mengembangkan kemampuan manajerial dan kepemimpinan pada saat bersamaan. Kemampuan manajerial terkait dengan kemampuan untuk mengelola resource secara optimal sehingga diperoleh minimum input maximum result. Sedangkan kemampuan leadership terkait dengan kemampuan mengembangkan visi, mempengaruhi dan mendorong tim secara optimal untuk mencapai target yang diharapkan.
