Program Pelatihan Assessment Center ini bertujuan untuk membantu organisasi dalam mengidentifikasi competency dan potensi SDM melalui serangkaian penilaian (assessment) yang dikaitkan dengan persyaratan kompetensi tugas tertentu yang telah ditetapkan. Keluaran utama dari Assessment Center adalah pemetaan kompetensi dan potensi (competency & potency). Dengan memahami peta atau profil kompetensi dan potensi setiap karyawan, manajemen dapat menyusun berbagai system dan program pengembangan SDM secara akurat dan obyektif seperti misalnya program rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan, promosi dan rotasi jabatan, pelatihan dan pengembangan kompetensi, evaluasi kinerja, dan sebagainya.
Disebut sebagai Assessment Center oleh karena 4 ciri khasnya yakni multiple tools, multiple rater atau assessor, multiple assesses, dan integrated evaluation. Multiple tools berarti Assessment Center menggunakan berbagai alat atau metode assessment. Multiple rater atau assessor berarti Assessment Center dilaksanakan oleh banyak assessors (lebih dari 2 orang).
Multiple assesses berarti jumlah pesertanya (assesses) tidak boleh tunggal atau sangat sedikit (kurang dari 4 orang). Integrated evaluation berarti proses penilaian bersifat terpadu (integrated) yang merupakan gabungan hasil penilaian dari multiple tools dan multiple assessor.

- Memahami metode personality inventory.
- Menguasai simulation method.
- Menguasai assignment method.
- Memahami dan menguasai metode wawancara
